Google Android TV |
Google has
recently co-developed a smart TV called Google TV with Intel, Sony, and
Logitech. It was launched in October 2010 with initial devices installed by

sites. In October 2013, reports
suggested that Google will stop using Google TV label and all new devices will
be rebranded as Android TV.
First
generation of Google TV’s devices were based on x86 architecture processors by
Intel and commercialized by Logitech and Sony. Second generation of devices
were based on ARM architecture processors, including extra partners such as LG,
Samsung, Vizio.
