girl from Andhra Pradesh, India has become the youngest woman to conquer
 Mount Everest.<br />

 25th May 2001 - Sherman Bull, 64, became the oldest climber to scale 
the summit of Mount Everest. This record broken on 23May 2013 when 80

its first nuclear explosive device, the project employed not more than 75
scientists and engineers. They were working on it from 1967 to 1974. This

test range was situated in Pokharan. Pokhran (also spelled Pokaran) is a city
in the Jaisalmer district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a remote
location in the "Thar Desert" region and served as the test site for
India's first Peaceful underground nuclear weapon detonation.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

the test, the Indian government declared that it did not intend to manufacture
nuclear weapons. It is just a peaceful testing to make India self-reliant in

First Indian Film Raja Harishchandra was released on 3rd May 1913 it was first time shown in public in Bombay's Coronation Cinema at Girgaon, The film was Produced and Directed by Dada Saheb Phalke. The Film was inspired by Raja Ravi Varma's painting. Although this film was premiered on 21 April 1913 at the Olympia Theatre in Grant Road for a selective audience.<br />
<br />
Dattatraya Damodar Dabke, a Marathi stage actor played the lead role of Raja Harischandra. The female role of Taramati, Harischandra's wife was  played by a male actor Anna Salunke and Phalke's son Bhalachandra D. Phalke was played the role of Rohtash, son of Harischandra. G.V. Sane played the role of Sage Vishwamitra.<br />

Dhundiraj Govind Phalke's first film had full film length of 3700 ft (in four reels) about 50 minutes of running time, and it took seven months 21 days to complete the film.<br />

Dadasaheb Phalke's film Raja Harischandra is the Ist Indian film. First  film by Dadasaheb Torne "Shree Pundalik" was released on 18 May 1912 in Mumbai, one year before Phalke's film. However, Shree Pundalik is a cinematographic recording of play, using a single, fixed camera by a British cameraman and the film stock was processed in London.<br />

Bhimrao Ramji Ambavadekar was born on April 14 1891, in the British-founded town MHOW(Military Headquarter Of the War), an important military center in Madhya Pradesh near Indore. He was also known as 'Babasaheb'. He was the 14th and last child of  Ramji Sankpal and Bhimabai Murbadkar Sankpal. Their family's hailed from ancestral town of Ambavade in the Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra.<br />
<br />
After retirement from British Army career in 1894 Bhimrao's father settled in Dapoli (in Ratnagiri District). So Bhimrao had his earliest education there. Then later in 1896 in Satara, because his father Ramji Sakpal found a job with the Public Works Department.<br />
In the year 1896 his mother Bhimabai Sakpal died.<br />

In 1901 Babasaheb's father Ramji Sakpal, (remarried in 1898), moved with his family from Satara to Bombay, the capital city of Bombay Presidency, there Bhimrao entered Elphinstone High School in Bombay.<br />
<br />
In 1902 The progressive-minded Maharaja of Kolhapur Shahu I (1884-1922) ordered 50% of the posts in the Kolhapur state services should be reserved for the backward classes.<br />
This happened first time in Indian history.<br />
Ramabai, nine-year-old daughter of Bhiku Dhutre of Wanand Bhimrao's marriage was arranged<br />
in 1906. Bhimrao passed the Matriculation Examination in 1907, his marks were average but his best subject was Persian (which he studied in place of Sanskrit). After that in 1912 he passed B.A. with special subjects Economics and Politics from Bombay University, this made him prepared to take a position in the administration of Baroda State. He was a bright and deligent student and received Baroda State Scholarship in 1913 to join the Political Science Department of the Columbia University. There in 1915 <br />
he passed his M.A. exam majoring in Economics, History, Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology. His thesis was "Ancient Indian Commerce"<br />
He became Professor of Political Economy in Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics in 1918.<br />
Dr. Ambedkar was invited by the Viceroy of India to be a delegate to the Round Table Conference in 1930 in London.Later he participated in the work of Joint Committee on Indian Legislative Reform. In August 1936, he founded the Independent Labour Party this was his first political party, which contested 17 seats out of which he won 15 in the 1937 General Elections.<br />
<br />
In 1947 he become Law Minister in the first Cabinet of independent India. 29th August he was appointed as Chairman of the new Constitution Drafting Committee.<br />
 The Constituent Assembly in November 1949 adopted the Constitution, including Article 17, which formally abolished untouchability.<br />
<br />
Dr. Ambedkar resigned in September 1951,from the Cabinet, and became the *Leader of the Opposition*<br />
<br />
Dec 5, 1956 he finally said Good Bye to the world.<br />
In 1957 his work "The Buddha and His Dhamma", his vision on Buddhism, was posthumously published,<br />
<br />
He received "Bharat Ratna" the highest civilian award of India in 1990 posthumously.<br />

Jhansi ki Rani, the Hindi poem, is the most famous composition of Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, an emotionally charged description of the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai.<br />

Manikarnika Tambe (Rani Jhansi) was born on 19 November 1828 into a Marathi Brahmin family in the holy town of Varanasi . She name was Manikarnika and she was given nickname Manu. Her father was Moropant Tambe and her mother Bhagirathi Sapre  or Bhagirathi Bai. Her parents were came from Maharashtra. She lost her mother when she was four. Her father had worked for a court Peshwa of Bithoor district. The Pehwa brought Manikarnika up like his own daughter. The Peshwa called her "Chhabili", which means "playful".  She was educated at home and was more independent in her childhood than others of her age; her studies included archery, horsemanship, and self-defense.<br />

In 1842 She married the Maharaja of Jhansi Raja Gangadhar Rao and became the Rani of Jhansi. After her marriage to the Raja Manu-bai became Lakshmibai Newalkar. Before her marriage,  Rani Lakshmibai gave birth to a son, Damodar Rao, in 1851, but he died after four months. On the day before the raja's death in November 1853 he adopted a son and given him name Damodar, after their actual son, His actual name was Anand. After the death of her husband the head of the British government of India refused to allow her adopted son to become raja and Jhansi was then ruled by the British.<br />

The great Mutiny broke in May 1857 then the British in Jhansi had been killed by mutinous Indian troops in June 1857 the Rani took over the administration until the British returned. However she formed an army to defeat the invading forces of Orchha and Datia. British believed she had been responsible for the earlier British deaths. In March 1858 Sir Hugh Rose led the British forces and came to Jhansi to take back the city from Rani who wanted complete independence now. Jhansi was besieged by British and finally taken after strong resistance. Many of the people of Jhansi were killed in the war afterwards. The Rani manage to escape to Kalpi and joint with the Maratha general Tatya Tope and then seized Gwalior. In the battle which was British forces commanded by Sir Hugh Rose had conquered Gwalior,  In this Battle finally Rani died. on 17 June 1858,<br />

The Ford Motor Company (aka Ford) is an American multinational automaker headquartered in suburb of Detroit (Dearborn, Michigan). Henry Ford founded and incorporated the company on 16th June,1903. Automobiles and commercial vehicles are sold under the Ford brand luxury cars are sold under the Lincoln brand. The Ford company also owns Australian performance car manufacturer- FPV and a Brazilian SUV manufacturer, Troller. Ford owns a a 15% stake in Aston Martin of the United Kingdom,2.1% stake in Mazda of Japan,  and a whooping 49% stake in China. in Jiangling. It also has a number of joint-ventures, two in China (Ford Lio Ho and Changan Ford Mazda), one in Thailand (AutoAlliance Thailand), one in Russia (Ford Sollers) and lastly one in Turkey (Ford Otosan). Ford is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Forbes describes it is as "the most important industrial company in the history of the United States."<br />

Henry Ford made his first attempt at a car company under his own name and that was the Henry Ford Company on November 3, 1901, that later on on August 22, 1902 became the Cadillac Motor Company . After that Ford was left with the rights to his name. Then the Ford Motor Company was launched in a converted factory in 1903 with just $28,000 in cash from twelve investors, main investors were John and Horace Dodge, who later went on to own a company of their own. During its early years, the company produced just a few cars a day at its factory. Groups consisting of two or three men worked on each car, assembling it from parts that were made mostly by supplier companies contracting for Ford.<br />

A 39 year old, Henry Ford founded the Ford Motor Company, which went on to become one of the world's largest and most profitable companies. It also was able to survive the Great Depression. It is one of the largest family-controlled companies in the world, the Ford Motor Company was in continuous control of Ford family for over 100 years, but they have minority ownership.<br />

In the year 1886, the first modern automobile was created by a German inventor Carl Benz( Benz Patent- Motorwagen), it was made more affordable for the middle-class. Ford also contributed to this by introducing the first assemble line in the year 1913.<br />

Telanagana, became 29th state of India on this day. its separated with Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad remain capital of Telanaga.<br />

It was earlier a part of Princely state of Hyderabad,  ruled by the Nizams during the British Raj till 1947,  and in 1948  it joined the Union of India.<br />
 The linga on three mountains, Kaleshwaram, Srisailam and Draksharama, marked the boundaries of the Trilinga desa. 'Thelinga', 'Telunga', 'Telugu' the Telangana has taken its name after this tri linga.<br />
It has history from the Satavahana dynasty (230 BCE to 220 CE)  which lands between the Godavari and Krishna rivers.  After the decline of the Satavahanas, various dynasties, came in existance such as the Vakataka, Chalukya, Vishnukundina,  Rashtrakuta and Western Chalukya.<br />
Golden Age of the Kakatiya dynasty had ruled most parts of Pradesh what is now Andhra Pradesh from 1083 to 1323 CE.<br />

Malik Kafur invaded in 1309,  then it came under the Muslim rule of the Delhi Sultanate in the 14th century,  Qutb Shahi dynasty in 1518.  The Mughal emperor Aurangzeb On 21 September 1687, took over the Golkonda Sultanate.<br />

Finally after Independence of India, The Government of India on 17 September 1948 annexed Hyderabad State in Operation POLO, into sovergein of India.<br />

In December 1953, the States Reorganisation Commission (SRC) was assigned to form states on linguistic bases.  In an agreement  between Telangana leaders and Andhra leaders on 20 February 1956 to merge Telangana and Andhra to make a pradesh. In 1956 after reorganisation the region of Telangana was merged with Andhra State to form Andhra Pradesh. So central government established a unified Andhra Pradesh on 1 November 1956<br />
<br />
On 30 July 2013, the Congress Working Committee  passed a resolution to recommend the formation of a separate Telangana state. In February 2014,  By the parliament of India for the formation of Telangana state  bill of Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 was passed comprising ten districts from north-western Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad will remain as the joint capital of both the states for a period of 10 years. The bill received the assent of the President Pranab Mukherji and published in the gazette on 1 March 2014. The state of Telangana is officially formed today or the 2 June 2014.<br />
<br />
With an area roughly 1.6 lakh square kilometres and over five crore population, Andhra Pradesh would be larger state than Telangana. It gets to keep the port city of Visakhapatnam and Tirupati, the richest temple town in India.<br />

In 1890 Besant met Helena Blavatsky and over the next few years grew her interest in theosophy. She became a member of the Theosophical Society and started  lecturering on the subject. As part of her theosophy-related work, she travelled all over India. In 1898 she helped establish the Central Hindu College and in 1922 she helped establish the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board in Mumbai, India. In 1902, she established the first overseas Lodge of the "International Order of Co-Freemasonry". Over the next few years she established lodges in many parts of the British Empire. In 1907 she became president of the Theosophical Society, whose international headquarters were in Adyar, Madras, (Chennai).<br />
<br />
She became involved in active politics in India by joining the "Indian National Congress".  During World War I in 1914, she helped launch the "Home Rule League" to campaign for democracy in India and its prominent status within the Empire. This work of her led to be as president of the India National Congress in late 1917. In the late 1920s, She travelled to the United States with her protégé and adopted son Jiddu Krishnamurti. She claimed that Krishnamurti was the incarnation of Buddha, which he  later rejected in 1929. After the war, she continued to campaign rigorously for Indian independence and for the causes of theosophy, until her death in 1933.<br />

Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai was an Indian scientist and physicist; he was born on 12 August 1919 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat state of western India. He was lovingly known as father of India's space programme.  His father,  Ambalal Sarabhai was a wealthy industrialist, who owned many textiles mills in Gujarat, and devoted his life to help poor people The Sarabhai family is an important and rich business family.<br />

Vikram Sarabhai studied his higher education from Sheth Chimanlal<br />
 Nagindas Vidyalaya. Vikram Sarabhai graduated from Gujarat College, Ahmedabad after passing the Intermediate Science examination. After completing his under graduation, he joined St. John's College, University of Cambridge, England. He was honored with Tripos in Natural Sciences from Cambridge in the year 1940.<br />

Completing his education, Vikram Sarabhai returned to India in 1947.<br />
<br />
India had just become independent and needed money to rebuild itself.  Vikram started to persuade <br />
<br />
charitable institutions that were controlled by his family to endow a research <br />
<br />
institution near his hometown in Ahmedabad. Later the research centre was named <br />
<br />
“Physical Research Laboratory” in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on November 11, 1947.<br />
<br />
His greatest achievement was the establishment of Indian Space Research <br />
<br />
Organization (ISRO). He effectively convinced the Indian government of the <br />
<br />
magnitude of having a space programme for a developing and emerging country like <br />
<br />
India, after the launch of the Russian Sputnik.<br />
<br />
Homi Jehangir Bhabha, widely known as the father of India's nuclear science <br />
<br />
program, supported and helped Sarabhai in setting up the first rocket launching <br />
<br />
station in India. This center was found and established at Thumba near <br />
<br />
Thiruvananthapuram (situated on the coast of the Arabian Sea), mainly because of its <br />
<br />
nearness to the equator. After a significant effort in setting up the infrastructure, <br />
<br />
communication links, personnel, and launch pads. The inaugural flight was launched <br />
<br />
on 21st November, 1963.<br />

Instructional Television Experiment (SITE) was launched between July 1975 – July <br />

1976 (after passing of Sarabhai). Sarabhai started a project for the production and <br />
<br />
launch of an Indian satellite. The first Indian satellite, as a result was called Aryabhata <br />
<br />
was positioned in the orbit in 1975 from a Russian Cosmodrome.</div>

Exactly 39 years ago, on May 16, 1975, Junko Tabei then 35-year-old  with help of her Sherpa guide Ang Tshering reached the 8,848-meter peak. The peak called THE EVEREST the highest point on EARTH.<br />
<br />
On that day, the Fukushima Japan native made history in the world of mountaineering. She become the first woman to climb Mount Everest, the highest point of Earth.<br />
<br />
Junko Tabei is a Japanese mountain-climber, born on September 22, 1939, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The first woman, on May 16, 1975, to reach the summit of Mount Everest.<br />
<br />
She graduate in English literature from Showa Women's University. She was also a member of mountain climbing club in her University. There Tabei in 1969 formed the "Ladies Climbing Club: Japan (LCC)".  Before climbing Everest She climbed Mount Fuji, and the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps, In 1972, Tabei was a established mountain climber in Japan.<br />

The newspaper "Yomiuri Shimbun" and "Nihon Television" prepared an all-woman team and sent them to Nepal to take challenge of climbing Mount Everest. Including Tabei 15 women out of hundreds of applicants, were selected for the final expedition.<br />
<br />
After a long training, they started the expedition early in 1975 from Katmandu (Nepal). There they found . They decided to take the same route Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay (in 1953) took with the help of nine local Sherpas. In early May the female team were camping at 6,300 meters where an avalanche struck their camp. Including Junko and the guides, they were buried under the snow. Tabei lost consciousness for almost 6 minutes until her Sherpa guide dug her outof snow. Twelve days after the avalanche, Tabei became the first woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest.<br />
<br />
In 1992 Tabei also became the first female in the world to reach the highest point on each of the seven continents. These success records tells about her passion for mountaineering. She wants to scale the highest mountain in every country of the world. So far she has done for 60 countries.<br />
She quoted as her biggest inspiration is the late Sir Edmund Hillary, who was, in 1953 along with Sherpa Tenzing, was the first to reach on the top of Everest.<br />
<br />
Mother of two grown-up children, now a 75-year-old Tabei says mountaineering will be her passion forever.<br />

Calcutta Metro started in 24 October 1984  and Delhi went on Metro on 24 December 2002, Banglore's Namma Metro started on 20 October 2011, Gurgaon Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon started on 14 November 2013 and finally Mumbai's metro on 8th June 2014.<br />
There are many more cities in India to go on Metro. The biggest metro in plan is Delhi's National Capital Region Metro, which will be 381 Km long and it will be on track on 2021.<br />

The Owner of the Mumbai Metro is Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority wchich is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It has Three Phases and Number of stations are 12 (Line 1) at present. The Daily ridership is estimated as 1.5 million (Line 1 estimate).<br />
The Length of the Metro train is <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>4-6 coaches. The train has Track gauge of<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span>1,435 mm (4 ft 8 1⁄2 in) and it will have the average speed 33 km/h (21 mph) and Top speed will be 80 km/h (50 mph).<br />

The Mumbai Metro system serving city of Mumbai to reduce traffic congestion in the city, and it will be built in three phases over a 15-year period.  It is expected to be completed in 2021. On completion, the core system will have three high-capacity metro railway lines, with a total of 63 kilometres (39 mi). This Mumbai Metro is operated by Mumbai Metro One Pvt Ltd (MMOPL), a joint venture company formed by Reliance Infrastructure, Veolia Transport and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).<br />
<br />
On June 2006, then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh inaugurated the first phase of the Mumbai Metro project, and then construction work started in February 2008. A successful trial was conducted in May 2013,  then finally today 8th June 2014 Mumbai Metro has started its operations.<br />
