Indian Mars Orbiter Spacecraft
ISRO
India's first interplanetary probe, Mars Orbiter Spacecraft, was launched by PSLV-C25 at 1438 hours on 5th November 2013 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. In its voyage for Mars, the mission successfully completed 100 days in space on 12th February 2014.

The spacecraft escape from Earth orbit to initiate the journey towards Mars by Trans Mars Injection(TMI), in a helio-centric Orbit had taken place on December 01, 2013. This journey is very long and the spacecraft has to travel 680 million km out of which it has completed 190 million km on 11 feb 2014.

The spacecraft health is good. The ground station of ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) is continuously monitore the spacecraft. The station is located near Bangalore at Byalalu.

TCMs and the Mars Orbit Insertion (MOI) Operation has configured the propulsion system of the spacecraft. It has five payloads and the health parameters of all the payloads are  good.

Presently Spacecraft is 16 million km radio distance, so it is causing one way communication delay of approximately 55 seconds. The mission is set to complete remaining 490 million in next 210 days. Therefore it will be in to the Martian Orbit on 24th September 2014
